ICYMI, The Imperial Hotel Erskineville is serving up one of the most delectably flamboyant, most fabulous dining experiences, ever to hit Sydney. Operating Wednesday to Sunday in the hotel’s recently renovated ‘Priscillas’ restaurant, Drag ‘n’ Dine truly is the dinner experience fit for a #YahsQween. This plant-focused, forward-thinking dinner menu, comes complete with a complimentary side dish of drag, offering performances every hour from 7.30pm, by some of Australia’s most dazzling and dynamic queens – including resident queens such as Farren Heit, YazQween, Ruby Slippers and Dammit Janet, just to name a few.

Looking to extract the magic from all things sown and grown, Priscillas’ divine menu takes a real ‘veg-forward’ approach, with their Executive Chef Dave Clarke saying, “We wanted to offer a veg-forward menu as well as local proteins to act as almost a side element.” The outcome? A delectably sustainable menu, full of light, bright and soulful dishes, where vegetables headline a dazzling flavour show and proteins play a cute sidekick. On the menu you’ll find Crabless Crab Cakes (made with pulled tender jackfruit, palm hearts and spices), Coconut Ceviche (complete with aguachile, coconut curry, radish, cabbage, pickles & blue corn chips), Crisp Four Cheese Sweet Stuffed Peppers and so much more! Being honest, us gays do love a good piece of meat, so if you can’t bare the thought of going meatless, fear not, as your pals at Priscillas have you covered. Offering fresh fish marinated to perfection, and other meats are certainly far from MIA. They’re fresh from the local land and grilled to sublime succulence over wood or coals.

So what are you waiting for? Whether a first date (thanks Grindr), a mid-week pal catch up, or spontaneously coming out to your step dad – Drag ‘n’ Dine is the perfect place for it!
