AN INDULGING, TREAT-YOURSELF RECIPE FROM BAILEYS

Pavlova?? We hardly know ‘a!?

We kid, we kid – the mighty Pavlova is of course a staple dessert in many an Aussie family. They’re deliciously crisp on the outside, yet gloriously gooey on the inside, and can be finished with just about any sweet or savoury topping…iconic dessert behaviour in our books!

Thus, with the festive season well and truly on its way, we decided to brief in the babes over at Baileys HQ to whip up a fresh take on the classic Pav’ recipe, to give us something a little more suited to summer, and a little more  ‘after dinner’, to bring some excitement to those family engagements that could use a little flamboyant flair!

The baddies over at Baileys understood the assignment…you could even say that they were all Pav-lova it!

RECIPE (MAKES 1)

• 50ml Baileys Pavlova Flavoured Liqueur

• 25ml Vodka

• 50ml milk

1.4 Standard Drinks Per Serve

METHOD

Okay, so before you even think about becoming the mix pav-ologist that you were destined to be, the first thing we need you to do is drizzle the strawberry sauce in a wave-like motion around the cocktail glass. For the creative girlies among us, you’ve got free rein to make whatever design here you want…go absolutely off sis!

Now for the drink. To a cocktail shaker, add 50ml Baileys Pavlova Flavoured Liqueur, 25ml vodka, 50ml milk and – we apologise for getting technical here – shake it, shake it real good! Next, pour the velvety Baileys mixture into your immaculately decorated serving glass.

Top with a meringue and sliced strawberry, and you’re all set! What now sits before you is the pav-fect addition to your next indulgent night in, or show-stopper at the next family get-together – whichever that should be, enjoy it hun, you deserve it x

PS We want to enjoy this moment with you, so head on over to IG and show us your creation by tagging @baileysofficial and don’t forget to #drinkresponsibly…you’re a role model babe.
