AN INDULGING, TREAT-YOURSELF RECIPE FROM BAILEYS

There’s nothing more that the LGBTQIA+ community love more than an ice-cold coffee.

Whether it’s 3° or 33°, you best believe that the gays, theys and other queer love-lays will still be ordering their iced-cold beveraginos….we don’t know who made this the gay rule, but we sure as heck know that we will be following it to the T.

This indulgent, treat-yourself recipe from Baileys takes the humble iced coffee, and instead twists it into something acceptable to drink after 5PM (when coffee is often frowned upon).

Introducing the Baileys Chocaccino!

RECIPE

• 1-2 Scoops of crushed ice

• 1-2 Shots of cold espresso

• 200ml Chocolate flavoured milk

• 100ml Chocolate sauce

• 100ml Baileys Original Irish Cream

• Crushed honeycomb (to garnish)

1.3 STANDARD DRINKS PER SERVE

METHOD

We have to be honest, the method in this recipe is less of a method and more of a throw-it-all-together. Truly, all you have to do is place all of your ingredients (bar the chocolate sauce and crushed honeycomb) into a blender and let that baby work its magic.

From there, drizzle the chocolate sauce in a wave-like motion around your glass, and pour. If we’ve got any artists in the front row, you’ve got free reign in this step to make whatever design you like – go you, you big ‘Vincent Van Gay’ if you will!

Once you’ve drizzled, pour the blended mixture into your glass (and by that, we mean right to the top), drizzle some more chocolate sauce on top, and then sprinkle crushed honeycomb over it. Oh, and if you’re feeling really boujee, finish off with a few coffee beans to garnish.

Voila, you’ve just made an edible piece of art. Now head on over to IG and show us your creation by tagging @baileysofficial and @amoderngaysguide because we want to enjoy this moment with you…oh and don’t forget to #DrinkResponsibly – you’re a role model, babe.
