ACCOR GOES ‘ALL’ IN WITH LGBTQIA+ COMMUNITY SUPPORT in 2024

Accor, Australia’s largest hotel operator, and the Official Accommodation Partner of the Modern Gay’s Guide Magazine, is going ‘ALL‘ in on their LGBTQIA+ community support in 2024, kick-starting the year with a ferociously fab presence at the 2024 Melbourne/Naarm Midsumma Carnival.

With a highly engaged, empowered and quite frankly, fierce, internal LGBTQIA+ employee werk-force, the hotel giant has inclusion and diversity quite literally running through its veins (…or rather, hotel corridors), and as such, is this year taking that pride from the back-of-house all the way through to the forefront and beyond with their stall at this year’s Midsumma Carnival.

Known for iconic pride activations, such as their infamous ‘Come Sleep with Us’ Sydney Mardi Gras Parade presence back in 2019, the hotel group (comprised of international hotel and lifestyle brands such as Sofitel, Novotel, Hyde, Pullman, Mercure, ibis Hotels, Art Series, Mantra and many more) are certainly not strangers to loud and proud inclusion activations – from physically painting rainbow crossings across hotel entrances throughout Sydney’s CBD, to a pride activation which saw a seven-story pride flag proudly hung in the lobby of Novotel Sydney Darling Harbour, the group behind the ‘ALL – Accor Live Limitless’ lifestyle loyalty program have done it all!

This time however, the focus is less about grand gestures, and more about one-to-one, authentic, tangible, employee and wider community engagement, support and involvement…which we love to see!

Those looking to check out the Accor stall at the 2024 Midsumma Carnival, will have the chance to discuss employment opportunities, find out more about the benefits involved with the ALL – Accor Live Limitless lifestyle program and understand some of the work that the group are doing in the Inclusion, Equity and Diversity space.

It truly is a hotel slay, that’s earnt our next vaccay stay!
