A Modern Gay’s Guide, Australia’s largest circulating LGBTQIA+ print magazine, is looking for someone to join the team, and assist with delivering their physical magazine each month to local queer-friendly businesses.
The successful applicant will need to have their own car to whizz around in, with deliveries to local businesses on Oxford Street (Surry Hills), King Street (New Town), Glebe and other central inner-west locations.
The role is super chill – very ‘work when suits you’ type situation. A trolley will be provided so no heavy lifting or anything like that, and really is a park and stroll down Oxford Street popping into local LGBTQIA+ friendly businesses, acting as a ‘face’ of the Modern Gay’s Guide brand and having a chat with store owners and dropping off copies of our magazine to the stores – pretty camp right?!
There’s opportunities to grow, with regular marketing, writing and/or admin jobs often popping up if that were to be of interest, too?
Additionally, working with the Modern Gay’s Guide brand often opens itself up to opportunities to attend VIP media nights on behalf of the Modern Gay’s Guide team which are all v cool, and v fun.
