Calling all Brisbanites, Briswegians and Brisvegans – raise your hand if you’ve ever secretly wished Brisbane was just that *little* bit colder so you could finally live that winter wonderland fantasy… we’ll wait.

Well, well, well, those wishes have not fallen on deaf ears because this winter The Wickham (the fabulously queer-friendly pub in the Valley) have loudly and proudly brought Igloos to the Valley.

For just $35pp (an absolute steal, btw) you can relax in your own private disco-themed Igloo with up to 5 of your friends while feasting on their Mexican inspired menu (we don’t completely understand the whole Igloo X Mexican vibe either, but we will absolutely not be arguing with it, because it somehow works).

Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted with a smile, a wintery cocktail, and a super tasty share-platter, and then left alone to your own devices for an hour-and-a-half (which we used almost exclusively to take pics for Insta, tbh).

But if you want to skip the food and jump straight to drinks, they have that too – just book a late-night session any day of the week, and you’ll be treated to all the booze your heart desires (minimum spend does apply here, and, like, drink responsibly, please).

However, the big, glaringly obvious downside to this is that its only available until the end of August, so if you miss out, don’t say we didn’t warn ‘ya!

We’ve even put the booking link below, so that’s half the work done – all you’ve gotta do is wrangle a few friends and have a camp ol’ time!
