AN INDULGING, TREAT-YOURSELF RECIPE FROM BAILEYS
It’s no secret that mint and chocolate are a highly contested flavour combination – a match made in tastebud heaven if you will. It’s fresh, it’s sweet and it’s delicious…which is exactly how we’d like to be described after a big gay date if we’re honest.
Thus this recipe, we’re bringing you this heavenly combo in the form of a decadent treat-your-self style dessert, with Baileys’ Australian River Mint & Chocolate Cocktail.
• 45ml Baileys Australian River Mint and Chocolate Flavoured Liqueur
• 2 scoops vanilla ice cream
• Handful of ice cubes
• Dark chocolate (both shaved and a few squares)
• Fresh mint leaves to garnish
• Chocolate sauce
THIS RECIPE CONTAINS APPROX. 0.6 STANDARD DRINKS
In a martini glass – and using a wave-like motion – take your chocolate sauce bottle and swirl chocolate around the entire glass, and then set aside…she’s not finished yet.
Next, in a cocktail shaker, pour the Baileys Australian River Mint and Chocolate Flavoured Liqueur, vanilla ice cream and ice cubes, and shake, shake, shake (what cha’ mama gave you) before straining it into your prepared martini glass.
To finish, garnish with fresh mint leaves, and both shavings and squares of dark chocolate, and then, most importantly, enjoy!
