GORDON’S DRY MARTINI RECIPE

Considering that there’s almost as many ways to make a Martini as there are sexualities, we’d be lying if we said there’s only one correct way to make a Martini.

In fact, some people prefer their Martinis shaken; others stirred.

Some prefer theirs wet, while others prefer a drier drink.

And some take their Martinis in a comparable fashion to Christina Aguilera’s 2002 hit, Dirrty.

But here at A Modern Gay’s Guide, it’s our way or the highway. So let’s stir the pot, pick up a bottle of Gordon’s Gin,  and make a dry Martini, shall we?

INGREDIENTS

• 50ml of Gordon’s Gin

• 15ml dry vermouth

• A lemon

• Crushed ice

1.7 Standard Drinks Per Serve

METHOD

Into a glass, stir 15ml of dry vermouth into 50ml of Gordon’s Gin until mixed. Once combined, add your ice and stir again.

Finally, strain into a Martini cocktail glass and garnish with a single lemon skin twist (because less is more).

What sits in front of you is a classic, crisp drink. And because of how little vermouth we’ve added, the distinctive juniper taste of Gordon’s Gin is given the opportunity to shine bright…just like you, superstar xx
